Welcome to Knightschool!

First things first: what is this?

As a father, I’ve wished to share three things with my boys:

My love of books and reading
A high fantasy series for them to grow up with
The experience of book release parties

But wishes only get you so far, so I’ve decided to write a series of children’s books with the aim of meeting all three of these goals. Let’s take a look at what I’m proposing…

The Knightschool Series:

The Knightling Years

Coming Summer 2026! Start your young readers here! These picture books start with simple words, sentences, and paragraphs to help your young reader learn how to read. They’ll also learn about a fantastic world of knights, dragons, and other mythical creatures.
The Chapter Years

Coming December 2025! Help your reader learn how chapters work as a full length story is introduced. Your reader will also learn important morals with Lance through lessons of fairness, sharing, and gratitude.
The Middle Grade Years

Coming Fall 2027! Readers will continue their journey and be introduced to more complex ideas as the overarching plot is explored further. Deeper themes will also be introduced including compassion, honesty, honor, and restraint.
The Young Adult Years

First Release in 2028! Lance’s young adult years. Readers will dive into complex themes and bring closure to the overarching plot that threatens the existence of all the kingdom. Morals of agency, valor, self-sacrifice, and wisdom are also explored.
